Everything you need to know about ASAT 2026
ASAT (AXIS Scholarship Admission Test) is a scholarship-cum-admission test conducted by AXIS IIT/NEET for students of Class V to X. It offers a scholarship of up to 60% on AXIS Class VI-XI courses based on performance.
Students currently studying in Class V to X (CBSE or ICSE board) are eligible to appear for ASAT 2026.
ASAT 2026 will be held on 25th October and 1st November (Sunday), from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
ASAT is conducted offline at AXIS IIT/NEET test centres.
Test centres are at D/12, Koel Nagar, Rourkela; FM/3, Basanti Colony, Rourkela; and Sarbahal, Jharsuguda.
The registration fee is Rs. 99.
ASAT has 60 objective (MCQ) questions for a total of 240 marks, covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Mental Ability.
No. Each correct answer is awarded +4 marks, and there is no penalty for an incorrect or unattempted answer.

Students can get a scholarship of up to 60% on AXIS Class VI-XI courses, based on their performance in the test.

No. The scholarship percentage depends on the student’s performance in the test — a higher score earns a higher scholarship, up to the maximum of 60%.
Yes. If a student appears on both dates, the better of the two scores is considered for the scholarship.
No, the Rs. 99 registration fee is non-refundable if a student misses their scheduled test date.
Students should carry any valid ID proof to the test centre.
Results will be declared within 48 hours of the test.
The scholarship is valid for 3 months from the date of the result, within which the student must enrol to avail it.
